Biography:

Hello Crusader Nation, I am Lem (Coach Lem) Walton. It is my honor to serve you as the Freshman girls’ Basketball Coach. I am originally from Dalton, Georgia. I attended Dalton High School where I participated in Football, Track, Baseball, and Chorus. After High School, I started my Coaching career as an Assistant for the boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach at Pathway Christian Academy. In my second year at Pathway, I led the team to the TSCAA State Championship game. After my tenure at Pathway, I worked as a Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Softball official for the GHSAA and Whitfield County (GA) Officials Association.

In 2004, I coached The North Georgia Wildcats of the Southern Football League where I was the Line Coach. In 2005, I joined the staff of the Carolina Titans where I served as the Line Coach and Co-Offensive Coordinator where we won the South Atlantic Minor Football League Championship. After an absence from coaching, I joined the Coaching staff at John Mall High School in Walsenburg, CO. At John Mall, I served as Assistant Varsity Football Coach, Assistant Varsity girls’ Basketball Coach, and Assistant Baseball Coach. After relocating to Michigan, I served as an Assistant Coach for the Freshman Football team at Grosse Pointe South. I am looking forward to working with our student athletes and making a positive contribution to the LCN family, thank you for having me!
