Coach Sargent has been coaching volleyball for over 30 years.  She has been a Crusader Coach since 2011; starting as the freshman coach for 2 years, JV coach for two years and presently the head varsity coach for the past 5 years.  During her time at LCN she is very proud of the programs accomplishments.  Crusader Volleyball was in the bottom of the MAC Gold and just recently was moved into the MAC Red; a goal Coach Sargent and the coaching staff has been working toward over the past few years.  The most recent successes were accomplished this past season (2020) in which the Lady Crusaders took home a third league championship, a district championship, and for the first time in school history, a regional championship.  The Lady Crusaders were named All-County Team of the Year and Coach Sargent was named All-County Coach of the Year for the 2020 season.  Coach Sargent believes the reason for such success was creating the essence of team and community within the program.  This does not happen overnight and it takes a village to make it happen.  Most importantly she recognizes the importance of her amazing coaching staff.  JV Head Coach Denton Casier is the master of creating practice platforms that get the best out of our athletes mentally and physically.  Previous to his coaching at LCN, he was the Middle School East 8th grade coach, where he did an incredible job preparing our girls for high school.  Coach Sargent is happy to announce he will be joining her as a the varsity head co-coach for the 2021 season.  Coach Syd Fisette has been a big part of our program preparing our freshman to not only become better volleyball players but has been a positive force in their efforts to transition form middle school to high school.  Coach Syd is special in that she is a Lady Crusader Volleyball alum and comes with a lot of knowledge in sports conditioning.  Coach Sargent is very proud and excited to announce that Coach Syd  will taking over the JV coaching position.  The program is very fortunate to have a new addition and another alum to the coaching staff, Varsity Assistant Coach Jordan Peltier.  Jordan brings us tremendous knowledge and experience from not only playing college volleyball as a setter but also expertise in athletic training.  Coach Sue is the glue to our staff, always making sure we have accurate stats, score keeping, and all around organization. The Lady Crusader Coaching staff is looking forward to another great season.  We are hoping we continue to have the amazing support of our community, fans, and parents.
